14. Listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying
15. Embark on aggressive praises to overcome depression
16. Embark on quality worship like 6 hours non-stop to bring down the presence of God
17. If necessary, declare a dry fast- three day no food no water
18. Declare a 30-day warfare night vigil
19. Follow divine instructions.
20. Most importantly repent of your sins and COME BACK TO GOD

1. Daily we all pray to God to give us our needs. This is quite biblical and scriptural.
2. Our prayer every day to God is mostly about requesting one thing or the other from God.
3. Our prayer requests most times is requesting God to give us something

• God give me a husband
• God give me a wife
• God give us children
• God give me house
• God give me money
• God give me car
• God give me visa
• God give me job
• God give me clothes
• God give me.., God give me…,God give me….is a recurring decimal in our prayers

4. The interesting thing is that any good relationship is not a one-way traffic.
5. Relationship has to be mutually benefitting.
6. Just as we want God to give us various things, God also want something from us.
7. There is something God wants you to give him today, will you be willing to give Him?
8. We may have various prayer requests before God, but God only have one prayer requests for us
9. We may want God to give us several things, but God wants just one thing from us
10. There is something God wants you to give him today, are your ready to give Him?
11. We want clothes, money, house, job, husbands etc from God…but He also wants something from us. Just one thing.

Psalm 100 vs 4: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Isaiah 28:6- And for a spirit of judgment To him who is sitting in the judgment, And for might to those turning back the battle to the gate. 

1. Every physical being either animate or inanimate has a physical gate
2. In most cases, every Physical Gate is manned by a power.
3. If the power that guards a physical gate does not allow you to come in, there is no way you can enter an office, residence, city or nation.
4. The Bible says that Heaven has a gate, through which angels ascend and descend.
5. The gate is therefore very strategic and important in order to gain entrance into a space to achieve a purpose.
6. Battles are won and lost at the city gates.
7. The children of Israel could not possess Jericho until the city walls crumbled.
8. It took seven days of divinely inspired march round the city before the won the battle at the gates.
9. Just as there are physical gates, there are also spiritual gates.
10. It is quite possible to enter into a place in the physical realm and to have been prevented from entering that same place in the spiritual realm.
11. Since it is the spiritual that controls the physical if you are not able to enter the office through the spiritual gate, you may not receive your blessings in that office.
12. We can only overcome evil spiritual gatemen through the wisdom of God.
13. God has instructed us to take the battle to the gate and pronounce judgment on evil gatekeepers

2. You can see physical gates, but you cannot see spiritual gates
3. Gates can be locked against you in the physical or spirit realm

5. God expects us to take the battles to the gates.
6. Unless you overcome the evil gatemen standing at the gates of your success, you cannot achieve a breakthrough.
7. Unless you address and paralyse the powers standing at the gate of that office you are looking for favour, you are likely going to come out of the place empty handed.
8. There are strongholds of darkness preventing Christians from entering in to the gates of their canaaland  and unless their  destroyed the person will remain in the wilderness.
9. The Psalmist knew quite well that there are gates of brass and bars of Iron: Psalm 107 16 For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
10. The Gate to a new month is the first day. The first day of every new month is the gate for the month, the first day of every new week is the gate for the week, the first day of every new year is the gate for the year.
11. You have entered  a new month physically but you have to enter it spiritually.
12. You can enter a new month spiritually and possess its possessions to Praise

Genesis 1 vs. 28 – Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” NKJV

There are several lessons of this passage

1. You have been blessed by God before you were born
2. If God has blessed you no man can curse you
3. God gave you five commandments for your life

• Be fruitful
• Multiply
• Fill the earth
• Subdue it
• Have dominion.

1.   Be fruitful: Fruitfulness means being productive. Fruitfulness means doing something profitable. Fruitfulness means being a blessing to yourself, your family and to others.

• I curse every seed of unfruitfulness in your life and speak to the labour of your hands to bear fruits in Jesus name.

2.   Multiply: Multiplication is geometric increase. The mind of God for us is not to increase in numbers by two or three but to multiply in leaps.

When Jesus turned the bread meant for one person into food eaten by five thousand with leftovers, the power of multiplication was at work.

• I provoke the divine power of multiplication to manifest in your situation in Jesus name.
• I speak woe to the spirit of snail speed over your life, and command a speedy increase in Jesus name.

3.   Fill the earth: Filling the earth means our star should shine across the earth to the glory of God. Christians are supposed to be champions rather than losers, players rather than spectators, news makers rather than news readers. We need to work hard, be productive and pray towards achieving this goal.

• I speak success, excellence and distinction to every work of your hands and break limits and restrictions to your divine manifestation in Jesus name

4.   Subdue: Subdue means we need to overcome challenges. We need to overcome storms. We need to break the chains of oppression and walk in liberty. This calls for divine knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

David  was able to subdue Goliath. God is calling us to subdue sin, subdue poverty, subdue sickness and subdue failure.

• I pray that the anointing to subdue every contrary situation shall fall on us in Jesus name.

5.   Dominate: Christians are meant to be Kings and Queens. Dominion means comfort, splendour, peace, joy and victory. Christians are Christ ambassadors on earth and overcomers or conquerors; as such we should manifest these divine attributes.

• The impartation to dominate life challenging situations, receive it today in Jesus name.

Before a Christian can fulfil these divine attributes – Replenish, Multiply, Subdue and Dominate, he/she has to be a child of God.

I encourage you to dedicate and surrender your life to Christ today, flee from all sins, live in complete holiness, serve God and as you do that, divine power to multiply, replenish, subdue and dominate shall fall on you in Jesus name.

Eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood

The Holy Spirit showed me a strange revelation this morning.

1. I saw a man standing and suddenly an evil power came like a bird from the sky and started licking the man, and later on began to eat up his  flesh
2. I woke up in amazement that such horrible things do occur and the Holy Spirit said what I have just seen is the activities of eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood.
3. At this point you need to pray like this-

• My flesh is not for ritual sacrifice in Jesus name
• My flesh become fire, my blood carry fire in Jesus name

Let see what the scriptures say about eaters of flesh in Isaiah 49 vs 26-
²⁴ Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

²⁵ But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

²⁶ And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Who are these eaters of flesh that the scriptures is talking about?

Who are these eaters of flesh that the Holy Spirit showed me in a revelation?

1. They are the people the Bible called the mighty
2. They are the powers the Bible called Terrible
3. They are dark powers that do not respect the power you are carrying
4. They are dark powers that specialise in taking people as a prey
5. They are dark powers contending with your destiny
6. They are oppressive and limiting spirits
7. They are powers that quench their thirsts with human blood
8. They are powers that use human flesh with as dinner

What are the activities of these eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood?

1. They are responsible for unexplainable accidents.  If you see any accident where blood has been spilled and with human carnage, possibly this accident has been programmed
2. They are responsible for strange deaths in hospital. There several satanic hospitals around that donate patients to dark powers.
3. They are responsible for ritual sacrifices, murders, and assassinations.
4. They are responsible for drying sicknesses
5. The drinkers of blood are responsible for wounds that refuse to heal
6. The eaters of flesh are responsible for miscarriages, still births, abortions, child and maternal deaths
7. They are responsible for kidnappings, genocide, civil wars, Islamic extremism like Boko Haram/Isis and all other activities that leads to unnecessary shedding of human blood and waste of life 

How do you overcome the eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood?

1. Become born again
2. Engage in spiritual warfare
3. Pray Judgmental prayers
4. Mark yourself with the blood of Jesus

2 Kings 6 vs 17 – And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

What are the lessons from this scripture?

1. There is physical eyes and spiritual eyes
2. The physical eyes sees things of the world and the spiritual eyes sees things of the spirit.

4. You may be see physically but be spiritually blind

1. You can see visions and dream dreams
2. You can see your today and tomorrow
3. Your mind will be at rest
4. You will know the plans of God for you.

6. You will know the secrets of your enemies
7. You will know the path of success

1. Surrender to Jesus

Daniel 3 vs 17 –¹⁷ If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning   furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

1. This passage is taken from a popular story in the Bible when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego refused to bow down to the image god of Nebuchadnezzar, preferring to be thrown to the fiery burning furnace.
2. Pray like this: I refuse to bow down to Satan in Jesus name
3. Glory to God, who delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego from the burning fiery furnace
4. The God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego shall deliver you today from any burning fiery furnace in Jesus name
5. The Holy Spirit gave me the understanding that several people are presently in a similar situation like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego were thrown to a fiery burning furnace.

What is a burning fiery furnace?

• A burning fiery furnace is something causing you acute pain.
• A burning fiery furnace is something causing you prolonged hardships
• A burning fiery furnace is a cage of darkness that you can’t come out from by your strength.
• A burning fiery furnace is a death certificate against your life.
• A burning fiery furnace is anything planned to kill your destiny, glory, life, talents, job, marriage, career, skills, etc
• A burning fiery furnace is the judgement of darkness against your life
• A burning fiery furnace is a destroyer and waster
• The people that threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego were killed by the burning fiery furnace. So burning fiery furnace is anything assigned to kill you.

How do we know if anyone is experiencing burning fiery furnace?

1. If you being persecuted for righteousness you may be inside a burning fiery furnace.
2. For some people, their burning fiery furnace is wrong relationships
3. Some people wrong marriage has become a burning fiery furnace..
4. Your burning fiery furnace may be delay in child bearing for reasons you cannot explain.
5. Your burning fiery furnace may be sickness, some of which have been termed incurable
6. Your burning fiery furnace may be satanic oppressions in the house you are staying, nightmares, evil dreams, sexual molestations in dreams, or attacks in dreams.
7. Your burning fiery furnace may be sins that you are ashamed to even shared with anyone such as habitual masturbation, sexual harassment, pornography, abortions, drug addictions.

What do you want God to deliver you from?

Meshach Shad rack and Abednego trusted God to deliver  them from the burning fiery furnace.

1. You may wish to be delivered from tenancy
2. You may wish to be delivered from unprofitable jobs
3. You may wish to be delivered from prolonged illness
4. You may wish to be delivered from demonic attack and oppressions
5. You may wish to be delivered from drunkenness

7. You may wish to be delivered from failures, poverty, and stagnancy.

Go ahead and state what you want God to deliver you from.

Meshach Shad rack and Abednego said MY GOD SHALL DELIVER ME FROM BURNING FIERY FURNACE

1. My God shall deliver me from business failures.

Steps to take to receive deliverance

1. Flee from idolatry.
2. Trust in God
3. Don’t join the multitude to commit evil
4. Refuse to worship Satan or compromise your faith under any condition
5. Be ready to accept any persecution as a christian
6. Know your God
7. Call on your God to deliver you

Daniel 3 vs 25…He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Conclusion

1. God delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego because they are servants of God….Daniel 3 vs 17- If it beso, our God whom we serve
2. God will deliver you if you serve him in holiness with your heart, strength, work, time, and money.

Genesis 37 vs 18- ¹⁸ When Joseph’s brothers saw him coming, they recognized him in the distance. As he approached, they made plans to kill him. ¹⁹ “Here comes the dreamer!” they said. ²⁰ “Come on, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns. 3. Pharaoh bowed to Moses
4. King Nebuchadnezzar bowed to Daniel
5. Goliath bowed to David
6. Mordecai refused to bow to Haman
7. All names must bow to Jesus

What do you need to do for things to bow for you in Jesus name?

1. Repent of your sins and become born again
2. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour

2. A married man keeping a mistress is said to be cheating on his wife
3. It the same vein a married woman involved in extra marital affairs is said to be cheating on his wife.
4. Even in courtship or relationships either partners could cheat on themselves by dating someone else
5. Cheating by either partner is viewed as a serious offence in relationship often leading to break ups, separations, or divorce.
6. Just as we cheat on our partners in relationship we can also cheat on God.
7. Earlier today, a member of this group told me she has rededicated her life to God assuring that she will never cheat on God again

What are the facts about spiritual adultery and cheating on God?

1. The moment you become born again you have entered into a relationship with God
2. God is jealous
3. God respects covenants and agreements
4. God is the lover of every Christian
5. God is a faithful lover who demands faithfulness
6. God is a possessive lover, He does not want you to share the love you have for Him with an anybody or anything else or any other god

James 4:4-6(KJV)– ⁴ Ye adulterers and adulteresses,

James 4:4-6– ^4-6 You’re cheating on God.

How can you commit spiritual adultery? How can you cheat on God?

1. God thinks of you all the time and seeks you first every day, but are you not thinking of Him all the time or seeking Him first. You are cheating on God by not thinking of Him always and seeking Him first every day.
2. God looks after you even when you are sleeping and snoring..throughout the terrors of the night.. If you wake up, and you refuse to say Good morning Jesus, refuse to do a quiet time, forget to do morning prayers, but remember to greet loved ones instead, you are cheating on God
3. God through the Holy Spirit is always willing and ready to talk to you through His word. He wants to speak to you but you are ignoring him for other distractions. If you fail to fellowship with God by reading the Bible, through which He wants to speak with you, but you rather prefer to gossip with neighbours you are cheating on God.
4. Anyday you fail to talk to God in prayers, you have cheated on God because He wants to hear your voice always. 1 Thessalonians 5 vs 17 says pray without ceasing
5. If you prefer to talk to your phone all the time rather than your Bible…then you are cheating on God…that is why he called you an adulteress
6. If you are supposed or have decided to attend a Christian programme, but got engrossed with movies or other worldly distractions, you have cheated on God and you are an adulteress. James 4:4-6King James Version (KJV)⁴ Ye adulterers and adulteresses
7. Anytime you commit a sin, you have cheated on God, because you failed to keep your bargain to sin no more.
8. Anytime you commit a sexual sin, you have cheated on God, His spirit is inside you and you have polluted your body which is the house of His spirit. I COR 6 VS 19
   What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which isin you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
9. Anytime you commit sexual sin, you are cheating on God whose spirit lives in your body and who cannot behold sin
10. Anytime you disobey divine instructions you are cheating on God because He keeps his promises.
11. Anytime you defile your body with alcoholic drinks, cigarettes, drug addiction, tattoos, you are cheating on God who designed you for His glory.God will not put a tattoo on His body, why are you defiling your body created in His image.
12. Anytime you call on a god or indulge in idolatry you are cheating on God who is jealous and punishes idolatry upon to the fourth generation.
13. Anytime you visit a false prophet or consult a magician you are provoking the jealous of God who punishes idolatry upon to the fourth generation.
14. Anytime you give glory man instead of God, you are cheating on God who does not share His glory with man
15. Anytime you refuse to honour God with your tithes you are cheating on God who gives you the power to make wealth
16. Anytime you refuse to honour God with the best of your firstfruits, you are cheating on God who is the source of your promotion.
17. Anytime you refuse or forget to give God a good offering like Abels, you are cheating on God who gives you the power to make wealth.
18. Anytime you abandon Church, fellowship, Bible study, evangelism, or prayer for gossip, entertainment, shows, football, fashion, etc you are cheating on God who wants your attention all the time.
19. Anytime you make a vow and refuse to fulfil it, you are cheating on the covenant keeping God.

Come back to God

1. Confess your sins and repent
2. Pledge to be faithful
3. Go and sin no more
4. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you
5. Restitute where possible
6. Redeclare your love to God

Isaiah 10 vs. 27 – And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

What are the lessons from this scripture?

1. The first lesson from this scripture is that there is a burden on your shoulder
2. The second lesson from this passage is that there is a yoke on your neck
3. The third lesson is that this burden has to be taken off your shoulders for you to fulfil your destiny.
4. The fourth lesson is that this yoke on your neck, the yoke of poverty, sickness, dream attacks, nightmares, masturbation, sexual perversion, anger, greed, rebellion, stubbornness, has to be destroyed before Gods plan for your life will be fulfilled.
5. Lesson No 5- this burden and yoke was not placed on your shoulders and neck respectively by God; otherwise he would not have advised it should be removed
6. Lesson No 6- if they were not placed in our life by God, then they were placed by the devil
7. Lesson no 7: these burden and yokes are breakable, no matter how long or stubborn they are.
8. Lesson 8: God can break any yoke and cast off any burden from your life otherwise He would not have spoken against them
9. Lesson 9: today is the day of salvation; TODAY is THAT DAY the Bible talks about.
10. Lesson 10: burdens and yokes, can only be broken by the ANOINTING, which is the power of God.
11. Lesson 11: It shall come to pass that the yokes and burdens you see today, you shall see them no longer

What is the yoke and burden?

Sickness, failures, bareness, debts, poverty, stagnancy, sin, depression, and marital failures. Etc are all yokes and burdens

What is the anointing that breaks yokes and burdens?

Acts 10 vs. 38 –  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

1. Anointing is the power of God that breaks yokes.
2. Anointing is the power of God that destroy stubborn burden.
3. Anointing is the power of God that set the captives free.
4. Anointing is the power of God that makes you stronger than the strong man enemy.
5. Anointing is the power of God that disgraces Goliaths, Herods, Pharaohs, and other oppressors.
6. Anointing is the power of God that breaks chains of oppression.
7. Anointing is the fire of God that consumes boosting powers.
8. Anointing is the power of God that pushes children of God into breakthrough.
9. Anointing is the Spirit of God that makes hard things possible
10. Anointing is the power of God that casts out devils.

11. Anointing comes from God
12. An anointed person is spiritually powerful.
13. An anointed person is filled with Holy Ghost.
14. Without the anointing, a Christian will not be able to perform miracles
15. When the Spirit of God falls on you, it makes you become a candidate of signs and wonders.
16. When the Spirit of God falls on you, you would be able to deliver yourself and family from oppressors

1. Elisha requested for and received a double portion of the Spirit of Elijah (2Kings 2:9) and he was able to do twice as much miracle as his boss. Elijah did 16 miracles, Elisha 32. And some of the miracles of Elisha were as twice great. Elijah shut the Heavens for 3 and ½ years (James 5:17), Elisha for 7 years (2 Kings 8:1).
2. Even our Lord Jesus Christ did not perform any miracle before the Holy Ghost descended on him in a bodily shape like a dove upon him (Luke 3:22), at the banks of River Jordan. It was after this divine impartation that he was led to the wilderness full of the Holy Spirit, and returned to Galilee in power of the Holy Ghost to begin his miracles marked with signs and wonders.

1 Corinthians 12:8–10

⁸ For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

⁹ To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

¹⁰ To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

There are nine spiritual gifts itemized in 1 Corinthians 12

 No 1: Word of Wisdom. This enables a Christian to know the solution to any problem

No 2 : Word of knowledge. This enables a Christian to know what is going on in a place, people, or with a person.

 No 3: Faith. A christian with this gift believes God for the possible or impossible without any shred of doubt

No 4: Gift of healing: A christian with this gift is able to heal any sickness supernaturally, including those termed incurable.

No 5: Working of miracles. This gift enables a Christian to achieve anything against the natural order, laws, rules, or protocol.

No 6: Prophecy. A christian with this gift is able to make divine declarations or statements in native tongue reflecting the mind of God. Prophecy is God speaking through a human bring.

 No 7: Discerning of spirits. This enables a believer to detect the presence, plans, and purpose of both Holy Spirit and evil spirits.

 No 8: Divers kinds of tongues. The speaker speaks, prays, or exhorts in other languages not known to him

No 9: Interpretation of tongues. This enables a Christian to interpret in a native language utterance spoken in an unknown language by another Christian with the gift of divers kinds of tongues

Facts about spiritual gifts

1. These are given by the Holy Spirit.
2. They are for ALL Christians not church leaders alone
3. Many Christian are ignorant of these gifts
4. Many Christians don’t manifest these gifts throughout their life time.
5. The gifts are diverse, and are for different but complementary administrations and operations
6. Many believers have these gifts but the gifts are dormant, not used, or activated.
7. If we have these gifts, every Christian will lead a victorious life
8. These gifts can be received by holiness,active service to God, prayer, faith, and by simply asking from the Holy Spirit

Prayers

Holy spirit activate every spiritual gift in me in Jesus name
Power of God destroy my spiritual ignorance and illiteracy in Jesus name
Holy Spirit teach me how to receive, activate, and use my spiritual gifts in Jesus name
I claim my spiritual gifts from the wardrobe of heaven in Jesus name
Holy spirit give me every spiritual gifts you have prepared for me before I was born in Jesus name
Holy Spirit transform me from the ordinary level to the supernatural level in Jesus name
I receive all spiritual gifts in Jesus name. I refuse to short change myself

Reference Text: Acts 28 vs. 1-5- ¹ Once we were safe on shore, we learned that we were on the island of Malta. ² The people of the island were very kind to us. It was cold and rainy, so they built a fire on the shore to welcome us.

³ As Paul gathered an armful of sticks and was laying them on the fire, a poisonous snake, driven out by the heat, bit him on the hand. ⁴ The people of the island saw it hanging from his hand and said to each other, “A murderer, no doubt! Though he escaped the sea, justice will not permit him to live.” ⁵ But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed.

¹And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.

²And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

³And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

⁴And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

⁵And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

1. The background to this incident was that Paul and 275 other people on board a ship going to Rome, have escaped a 14 day windstorm  and thunderstorm  on high sea, that would have drown the ship and all the occupants; and they have now arrived safely at an Island called Melita.
2. Paul was being taken to Rome to face trial for preaching the gospel.
3. Just as they were settling down in Melita island,, a big snake ran out of a log of wood and fastened itself on the hand of Paul.
4. Why  did the snake attack Paul, out of the 276 that escaped from the sea storm and arrived at the Island?
5. Targeted attacks against me, attack your senders in Jesus name
6. The beast in the verses, is another word for the Snake, and this symbolises Satan.
7. Just like the Beast, pursued Paul to Melita, some of us are still being pursued day and night by various Beasts.
8. Pharaohs pursuing my journey to Canaan land, shake off to the Red sea in Jesus
9. Paul was a persecutor of Christians before but Satan started pursuing him after he started serving Christ
10. Every dark power pursuing me since birth, shake off in Jesus name
11. The snake that fastened itself against Paul stands for the spirit of death, but Paul shook it off
12. Venomous beasts, assigned to kill me shake off in Jesus name
13. The venomous beast that fastened itself on Paul’s hands stands for the spirit of oppression, and affliction.
14. Paul rejected the affliction and shook it off, you need to shake off every contrary thing in your life in Jesus name
15. If Paul did not shake off the beast, the beast would have killed him
16. Paul shook off the venomous beast into the fire.
17. The fire represents the Holy Ghost fire. What is that big problem you need to shake off into the fire of God?
18. Arise today and shake into fire every contrary thing in your life in Jesus name
19. Many of us live in fear and are afraid of the enemy. If many of us are in Paul’s position, the fear of the snake tied on our hands would have consumed us
20. Paul was able to shake off the viper because he was anointed. If he didn’t have the power of God the beast would have poisoned him to death. Paul was able to shake off the viper into fire and suffered no harm.
21. I receive anointing to trample on snakes and scorpions
22. Another lesson is that Paul was able to transform himself spiritually within a short time from a Christian convert to a Christian general. Many of us have remained feeding bottle Christians for years.
23. Holy Spirit turn me into God’s General in Jesus name
24. There is a reader of this message whose life, womb, business, prayer life, spiritual life, salvation, marriage, wedding, money etc has been tied by a venomous beast
25. The assignment the Holy Spirit is giving you today is to Shake off the beast into fire
26. The beast may be the spirit of infirmity. Shake off that sickness into fire in Jesus name
27. Paul was able to shake of the viper because he is a son of God. Today, you too can receive the power to shake off  the enemy, if you make a u turn as Paul did and decide to follow Jesus and obeys all commencements.
28. Repent from your sins and be born again

• Every venomous viper attacking my glory, shake off by fire in the name of Jesus
• You ancient Serpent attacking my business, shake off in Jesus name
• You serpent attacking my progress, shake off by fire, shake off into fire in Jesus name
• Every witchcraft affliction shake off by fire in Jesus name

Bible study: Offices in the Church: Who is a Bishop?

Read 1 Timothy 3 vs. 1-7; Titus 1 vs 6-9; Ephesians 4:11; Acts 20:28

Ephesians 4:11

¹¹ And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

¹² For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Acts 20:28 – Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

1 Timothy 3 vs. 1-7

This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

² A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

³ Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

⁴ One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

⁵ (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

⁶ Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

⁷ Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

Titus 1 vs 6-9;

⁶ If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.

⁷ For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

⁸ But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

⁹ Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

1. There are five offices in the New Testament church as outlined by Apostle Paul. The offices according to hierarchy are:

• Apostles
• Prophets
• Evangelists
• Pastors
• Teachers

2. One of the offices is Bishop also referred to as Overseers in the Bible
3. Bishop is not recognised as a special office in the Bible. In several places where the term is used in the Bible, it refers to someone or anybody who preaches.
4. In several places in the Bible the word Bishop is used interchangeably with Pastors, Servants, Overseers and Elders.
5. Unfortunately, some Churches or ministers of God, these days have unduly magnified the office of the Bishop because they want to be specially recognized.
6. Bishops are preachers and Deacons are servants in the church
7. A Bishop teaches.
8. A Deacon executes the instructions of Bishops
9. Bishops are preachers and teachers of the word
10. Deacons are administrators and assistants of Bishops.
11. Any person that describes himself as a Bishop, know that he is simply a Pastor or Teacher of the word
12. There are several titles in the present day local church that are not mentioned in the Bible. This includes Pope, Archbishop, General Overseer, Right Reverent, Reverend Father, Reverend, Cardinal, Father, Very Right Reverend, Reverend, Patriarch etc
13. All these positions are human creations, no more no less.
14. There are also many other honorific titles like Daddy G.O. and Mummy G.O. While our Church leaders deserve utmost respect, and there may be nothing wrong in using these titles according to local traditions to accord respect to elders, but the truth still remains that thy are all human creations

Duties of a Bishop or Overseer

1. To perfect the saints in the way of the Lord
2. To edify the Church to the glory of God
3. Feed the congregation the word of God

Qualifications  of a Bishop or Overseer  or Pastor

1. Blameless- perfect
2. Must be married
3. A monogamist. Husband of one wife. A polygamist cannot be a Bishop
4. Wise, Watchful, and intelligent
5. Humble, temperate, patient.
6. Well mannered, not unruly
7. Caring, loving, and willing to help others
8. Passionate and able to teach the word of God
9. Not a drunkard
10. Not quarrelsome, gentle
11. Honest, not covetous, not greedy, not a lover of ill-gotten money
12. Patient
13. Peacemaker
14. A responsible husband
15. A responsible and discipled father
16. His children must not be vagabonds
17. Not a new church member or convert. Should be tested and trusted
18. Not proud of arrogant
19. Easy going
20. Should have good testimonies from people
21. Blameless
22. Not self-willed or self-centred, un selfish
23. Should have godly friends
24. Sincere and just
25. Holy, not committing sins
26. Well-grounded in the word of God
27. Not ashamed to preach or teach the gospel
28. Good Bible teacher and speaker

Summary

The position of a Bishop much revered in the present day Church is equivalent to that of an Overseer, or a Pastor.

Prayer:  Holy Spirit, give me the heart of a Bishop in Jesus name
